A website design that allows Mzalendo to easily communicate the rate at which the ruling party in Kenya is honoring its promises to the people of Kenya as per the party’s manifesto used during the election campaign period.
Mzalendo is a Kenyan non-partisan Parliamentary monitoring organization whose mission is to “promote the realization of open, inclusive, and accountable Parliaments across Kenya and Africa”.
The website design we came up with is a promise tracker that breaks down the promises made during the period into four main sections – first hundred days, short-, medium- and long-term promises.
QUICK STATS
The website offers quick stats on the home page of all the promises made by the ruling party. The quick stats indicate which promises have not been started, changed, broken, fulfilled and changed.
PROMISES DASHBOARD
The website design features a visual promises dashboard that very quickly shows all the promises made for a particular category of promises and separates them into six different categories, depending on the status that the individual promise is currently in.
LIVE FILTERS
We built a filtration tool that allows users to view promises by social, economic and fulfillment status. The filters are fast and make live edits to the pages negating the need for loading the page again.
